Description
Mikacin 250mg Injection contains Amikacin, an aminoglycoside antibiotic used to treat a wide range of moderate to severe bacterial infections, especially those caused by Gram-negative bacteria resistant to other antibiotics. It is usually given under the supervision of a doctor in hospitals and clinics.

How It Works
Amikacin works by binding to bacterial ribosomes (30S subunit) and disrupting protein synthesis, which results in bacterial cell death. It has a broad spectrum of action and remains effective against many resistant organisms.
