Montair LC Kid Syrup

Description

Uses:

• Treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis in children, including sneezing, runny or itchy nose, nasal congestion, and itchy/watery eyes.

• Prevention and management of asthma symptoms such as wheezing, cough, and shortness of breath.

• Combines Levocetirizine (antihistamine) and Montelukast (leukotriene receptor blocker) to reduce allergic inflammation and relax airways.

• Helps control frequency and severity of asthma attacks in children.

Dosage:

• Typically once daily, preferably in the evening.

• Standard dose: 5ml syrup (2.5mg Levocetirizine + 4mg Montelukast) for children aged 2–5 years or as prescribed by the doctor.

• Dosage may be adjusted based on age and weight.

How to Use:

• Measure the syrup using a proper measuring spoon or cup.

• Can be taken with or without food.

• Use regularly for best results.

• Not for acute asthma attacks; a rescue inhaler should be used if sudden symptoms occur.

Precautions:

• Inform the doctor if your child has liver or kidney problems.

• Consult a doctor if the child is pregnant (rare) or breastfeeding.

• Do not stop or change the dosage without medical advice.

• Monitor for drowsiness, mood changes, or unusual behavior.

• Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, out of reach of children.

Side Effects:

• Common: Drowsiness, headache, stomach pain, dry mouth, mild cough.
