Description

Montek BL Tablet is a prescription medicine used for the treatment of allergic conditions and asthma-related symptoms. It combines two effective medicines:

• Bilastine (20mg): A non-sedating antihistamine that helps relieve symptoms of allergies such as runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes, and itching.

• Montelukast (10mg): A leukotriene receptor antagonist that reduces inflammation, prevents airway narrowing, and controls asthma symptoms.

Together, they provide relief from allergic rhinitis, hay fever, seasonal allergies, and asthma triggered by allergens.

Uses:

• Treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis

• Relief from symptoms like runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes, and nasal congestion

• Management of mild asthma and prevention of allergy-induced asthma attacks

• Control of long-term allergic conditions like hay fever or dust/pollen allergy

How to Use:

• Take the medicine orally as directed by your doctor.

• Swallow with a glass of water, usually once daily.

• Can be taken with or without food, preferably in the evening.

Dosage:

• Follow the dosage strictly as prescribed by your physician.

• Do not self-adjust or skip doses.

Precautions:

• Inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems.

• Avoid alcohol and sedatives, as they may increase drowsiness.

• Not suitable for acute asthma attacks (rescue inhaler should be used instead).
