Description

MUPICIP 5 GM is a topical antibiotic ointment from Cipla Ltd., containing Mupirocin 2% w/w. It is used for the treatment of skin infections caused by Gram-positive bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogenes.

Mupirocin works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, which prevents bacteria from multiplying, thereby helping the body fight infections and promoting faster healing of affected skin areas.

• Folliculitis and minor skin infections

• Prevention of infection in minor skin injuries
