Description
NDS Nflox-TZ Tablet is a prescription medicine containing Norfloxacin 400mg and Tinidazole 600mg. This combination is used to treat mixed bacterial and protozoal infections affecting the digestive and urinary systems.
Norfloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that kills bacteria by inhibiting bacterial DNA replication. Tinidazole is an antiprotozoal and antibacterial agent that destroys parasites and anaerobic bacteria by damaging their DNA. Together, they provide broad-spectrum treatment for infections caused by susceptible microorganisms.
This medicine is commonly prescribed for infectious diarrhea, amoebic dysentery, gastrointestinal infections, urinary tract infections (UTIs), and gynecological infections caused by bacteria and protozoa. It is not effective against viral infections such as the common cold or flu.
