Description

OCid 20 Capsule is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that helps reduce excessive acid production in the stomach. It is commonly used for the treatment of acid reflux, heartburn, peptic ulcers, and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Omeprazole works by blocking the action of the stomach enzyme that produces acid, thereby relieving discomfort and allowing the damaged tissue in the stomach and esophagus to heal.

Uses:

• Treatment of acid reflux and GERD

• Relief from heartburn and sour stomach

• Healing and prevention of stomach and intestinal ulcers

• Management of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome (excess acid production condition)

Dosage:
Take OCid 20 Capsule as prescribed by your doctor. It is usually taken once daily before meals, preferably in the morning. Do not chew, crush, or open the capsule. Follow the prescribed treatment duration for effective results.

How to Use:
Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water, ideally 30–60 minutes before a meal. For best results, take it at the same time every day.

Precautions:

• Inform your doctor if you have liver disease, osteoporosis, or vitamin B12 deficiency.

• Avoid taking it for long periods without medical advice as prolonged use may cause mineral imbalances.

• Pregnant or breastfeeding women should use this medicine under medical supervision.

• Avoid alcohol, smoking, and spicy food to prevent acid flare-ups.

Side Effects:
Headache, nausea, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, and flatulence. Long-term use may increase the risk of bone fractures or vitamin deficiencies. If you experience severe stomach pain, persistent diarrhea, or allergic reactions, contact your doctor immediately.
