Description

Omnacortil Oral Solution is a steroid medicine containing Prednisolone (5mg/5ml). It is commonly prescribed for children to treat a wide range of conditions such as severe allergies, inflammatory and autoimmune disorders, hormonal imbalances, nephrotic syndrome, and certain cancers. It is also a preferred choice after organ transplantation to prevent rejection.

This solution works by reducing inflammation, controlling allergic reactions, and suppressing overactive immune responses that may harm the body.

How to use:
Give Omnacortil Oral Solution to your child with food, preferably once daily in the morning. The dose depends on the child’s age, weight, and medical condition, as advised by the doctor. Do not stop the medicine suddenly; the dosage should be gradually reduced under medical supervision. Shake the bottle well before use and measure with the provided cup for accurate dosing.

Common Side Effects:
Increased appetite, weight gain, mood swings, irritability, stomach upset, growth retardation, frequent urination, and risk of infections. These usually subside after treatment ends, but consult your child’s doctor if they persist.
