Prolomet XL 100 Tablet

Description

Prolomet XL 100 Tablet contains Metoprolol Succinate (95mg), a beta-blocker used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), chest pain (angina), and heart-related disorders. It works by slowing down the heart rate and relaxing blood vessels, thereby improving blood flow and reducing strain on the heart. This medicine also lowers the risk of heart attack, stroke, and heart failure complications.

Uses:

• Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension)

• Management of chest pain (angina)

• Improves survival after heart attack

• Prevents and manages heart failure

• Helps control irregular heartbeats (arrhythmias)

How to Use:
Take the tablet as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily. Swallow whole with water, without crushing or chewing. It can be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time every day.

Dosage:
Dosage depends on your health condition and doctor’s advice. Do not skip doses or stop suddenly, as it may worsen heart problems.

Precautions:

• Inform your doctor if you have asthma, low blood pressure, slow heart rate, diabetes, liver disease, or thyroid problems.

• Avoid alcohol as it may increase drowsiness and dizziness.

• Not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless prescribed.

• Do not discontinue suddenly without medical supervision.
