RabEsec D SR Capsule is a combination medicine manufactured by Cipla Ltd, designed to treat disorders related to excess stomach acid and poor gastric motility. It contains Rabeprazole (20mg), a proton pump inhibitor, and Domperidone SR (30mg), a prokinetic agent.
Rabeprazole works by blocking acid secretion in the stomach, which provides relief from heartburn, acidity, and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). It also supports the healing of peptic ulcers and erosive esophagitis. Domperidone SR, on the other hand, enhances the movement of food through the digestive tract, thereby reducing symptoms like bloating, nausea, vomiting, and fullness after meals.
