Rasalect 1 Tablet

Description

Rasalect 1 Tablet contains Rasagiline (1mg), a monoamine oxidase-B (MAO-B) inhibitor used for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease. It works by increasing dopamine levels in the brain, which helps improve motor function, reduce tremors, and slow the progression of Parkinson’s symptoms.

Uses:

• Management of Parkinson’s disease

• Improves motor function and reduces symptoms such as tremors, stiffness, and slowness of movement

• Can be used alone in early-stage Parkinson’s or as adjunct therapy in advanced stages

How to Use:
Take the tablet as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily, at the same time each day. Swallow whole with water; it may be taken with or without food.

Dosage:

• Standard dose is 1mg once daily.

• Your doctor may adjust the dose based on response and tolerability.

Precautions:

• Inform your doctor if you have liver problems, history of depression, or cardiovascular disease.

• Avoid foods high in tyramine (e.g., aged cheese, cured meats) unless advised otherwise.

• Use caution with other medications, especially antidepressants.

• Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical supervision.

Side Effects:
