Reactin Plus Tablet

Description

Reactin Plus Tablet is a combination of Diclofenac (50mg) and Paracetamol (325mg), manufactured by Cipla Ltd. This medicine is widely prescribed for the treatment of pain, fever, and inflammation.

• Diclofenac: A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces pain and swelling by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis.

• Paracetamol: An analgesic and antipyretic that reduces pain and fever by acting on pain receptors and the thermoregulatory center in the brain.

Together, they provide fast and effective relief from acute pain and fever.

Uses

Reactin Plus Tablet is used for:

• Headache & migraine

• Musculoskeletal pain (sprains, strains, back pain, joint pain)

• Arthritis-related pain (Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis)

• Dental pain & post-operative pain

• Fever with body pain

• Menstrual pain (Dysmenorrhea)

Dosage

• Usual adult dose: 1 tablet 2–3 times daily, or as prescribed by the doctor.

• Take with food to avoid stomach irritation.

• Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

Side Effects

Common:

• Nausea, vomiting, indigestion

• Stomach pain or acidity

• Dizziness, drowsiness

Serious (rare):

• Stomach ulcers or bleeding

• Liver injury (especially if taken with alcohol)

• Kidney dysfunction

• Severe allergic reaction (rash, swelling, difficulty breathing)

Precautions & Warnings

• Avoid in patients with gastric ulcers, GI bleeding, severe liver/kidney/heart disease.

• Not safe for long-term use without medical supervision.

• Avoid alcohol (increases risk of liver damage).

• Not recommended in pregnancy (especially 3rd trimester) and breastfeeding unless prescribed.

• Patients on long-term therapy should undergo liver and kidney function monitoring.
