About Ricosprin 10 Tablet:
Ricosprin 10 Tablet contains Rivaroxaban, a direct factor Xa inhibitor that helps prevent the formation of harmful blood clots. It is prescribed for patients at risk of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE), or stroke due to atrial fibrillation, and for preventing clot formation after certain surgeries.

How It Works:

• Rivaroxaban selectively inhibits factor Xa, a key enzyme in the coagulation cascade.

• This prevents the conversion of prothrombin to thrombin, reducing clot formation.

• It provides anticoagulant effects without the need for frequent monitoring like traditional warfarin therapy.

Uses:

• Prevention and treatment of deep vein thrombosis (DVT)

• Prevention and treatment of pulmonary embolism (PE)

• Reduces the risk of stroke and systemic embolism in non-valvular atrial fibrillation

• Prevents blood clots after hip or knee replacement surgery

Directions for Use:

• Take once daily or as prescribed by your doctor.

• Swallow the tablet whole with water, preferably with food to improve absorption.

• Follow your doctor’s instructions on dosing and duration strictly.

Side Effects:
Common side effects may include:

• Bleeding or bruising easily

• Nosebleeds

• Minor gastrointestinal discomfort

Seek immediate medical attention if you experience severe bleeding, unusual bruising, black/tarry stools, or coughing/vomiting blood.

Precautions:

• Avoid in patients with active bleeding, severe liver disease, or recent hemorrhagic stroke

• Use with caution in patients with kidney impairment
