Description

SitaXA D 10mg/100mg Tablet is a combination anti-diabetic medication containing Dapagliflozin and Sitagliptin. Dapagliflozin, an SGLT2 inhibitor, lowers blood sugar by increasing glucose excretion through urine. Sitagliptin, a DPP-4 inhibitor, enhances incretin hormone activity, stimulating insulin release and reducing post-meal glucose production.
This combination is prescribed for adults with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus when diet, exercise, or monotherapy does not provide adequate blood sugar control.
