Description

Uses:

• Treats bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms

• Effective for respiratory tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, urinary tract infections, and bone infections

• Cephalexin is a cephalosporin antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis

Dosage:

• Take exactly as prescribed by the doctor

• Usually 1 capsule 2–4 times daily depending on infection severity

• Complete the full course even if symptoms improve

How to Use:

• Swallow the capsule whole with water

• Can be taken with or without food

• Maintain evenly spaced intervals between doses

Precautions:

• Inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems

• Avoid if allergic to cephalosporins or penicillin

• Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless prescribed

• Monitor for diarrhea or signs of allergic reactions
