Description
Szetalo 20 Tablet is an antidepressant medicine that contains Escitalopram Oxalate (20mg), a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI). It is widely prescribed for the treatment of depression and anxiety-related disorders. By increasing serotonin levels in the brain, it helps in stabilizing mood, improving sleep, and reducing feelings of fear, anxiety, and unwanted thoughts.
It is generally given to patients requiring a higher therapeutic dose when the lower strengths (like 5mg or 10mg) are not sufficient. This medicine should only be used under medical supervision, as sudden discontinuation or misuse can lead to withdrawal symptoms or worsening mental health.
