TELGARD H TABLET

Description

Telgard-H Tablet, manufactured by Cipla Ltd., is a combination antihypertensive medicine used to effectively control high blood pressure (hypertension), especially in patients who do not respond adequately to Telmisartan alone. It combines two medicines:

• Telmisartan (40mg): An angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more easily and lowering blood pressure.

• Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5mg): A thiazide diuretic (water pill) that removes excess sodium and water from the body through urine, helping reduce blood pressure and fluid overload.

Together, they provide dual action in reducing high blood pressure and protecting vital organs like the heart, brain, and kidneys.
