Description

VERTIRON Tablet is manufactured by Cipla Ltd. and contains Cinnarizine 25 mg as its active ingredient. It belongs to the group of medicines known as antihistamines, mainly used to prevent and treat motion sickness, nausea, and vertigo (dizziness) caused by inner ear balance disorders such as Ménière’s disease, labyrinthitis, and vestibular neuritis.

Cinnarizine works by blocking histamine H1 receptors and calcium channels in the inner ear. This action helps to stabilize the balance system of the brain, reduce abnormal stimulation of the vestibular system, and improve blood circulation in the inner ear. As a result, patients experience significant relief from symptoms like:

• Dizziness and spinning sensation (vertigo)

• Nausea and vomiting

• Ringing in the ears (tinnitus)

• Travel-related motion sickness
