Bisotril-2.5 T Tablet is a fixed-dose combination medicine used for the management of high blood pressure (hypertension) and to protect the heart and blood vessels in high-risk patients.

Bisoprolol is a selective beta-1 blocker that slows heart rate and lowers blood pressure by reducing the heart’s workload and output.
Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels by inhibiting the effects of angiotensin II, thus lowering blood pressure and protecting organs from hypertension-related damage.
The combination offers dual-mechanism antihypertensive therapy, suitable for individuals not controlled on a single agent or with cardiovascular risk factors.

Uses / Indications

Treatment of mild to moderate hypertension
Cardiovascular risk reduction in patients with hypertension, including those with diabetes or chronic kidney disease

Dosage & Administration

Typical dose: 1 tablet once daily (morning preferred), at the same time every day.
Can be taken with or without food. Swallow whole with water—do not break, crush, or chew.
Take as prescribed by your doctor; do not stop abruptly.

Safety & Side Effects

Headache, dizziness, fatigue, slow heart rate, diarrhea, cold extremities, and occasionally nausea.
Caution: Not suitable for severe asthma, slow heart rate, severe heart or kidney disease, pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
Avoid abrupt withdrawal—may cause a spike in blood pressure or worsening of underlying condition.
Routine blood pressure monitoring is recommended, especially when starting the medication.
