Description

Telpres 20 Tablet contains Telmisartan (20mg), an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that helps lower high blood pressure (hypertension) and protects the heart. By blocking the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that tightens blood vessels, Telpres relaxes blood vessels and allows smoother blood flow. This results in reduced blood pressure, improved oxygen supply to the heart, and decreased risk of complications such as heart attack, stroke, and kidney damage.

The 20mg dose is generally prescribed as a starting dose or for patients who require mild blood pressure control, and can be adjusted by the doctor depending on response.

Uses:

• High blood pressure (Hypertension)

• Heart failure (adjunct treatment)

• Prevention of heart attack and stroke in high-risk patients

• Protection of kidney function in diabetic patients with hypertension

How to Use:

• Take as directed by your doctor, once daily.

• Can be taken with or without food.

• Take at the same time every day for best results.

• Do not stop suddenly without consulting your doctor, even if you feel well.

Side Effects:
