Description

METADON 25 XL is a prolonged-release beta-blocker tablet designed for the management of cardiovascular disorders. Each film-coated Alu/Alu blister tablet delivers a controlled dose of Metoprolol Succinate, equivalent to 25 mg of Metoprolol Tartrate, ensuring stable blood levels and once-daily convenience.

How it Works

Metoprolol is a selective beta-1 adrenergic blocker that slows the heart rate, reduces the heart’s workload, and lowers blood pressure. It acts by blocking the action of specific natural chemicals (epinephrine) on the heart and blood vessels, resulting in decreased cardiac output and oxygen demand.
