Description
Adcapone Tablet is a prescription medicine manufactured by Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. It contains Entacapone (200mg), a COMT (catechol-O-methyltransferase) inhibitor that helps prolong the effect of Levodopa in patients with Parkinson’s disease.
This medicine is used as an add-on therapy for patients experiencing “wearing-off” symptoms with Levodopa, helping improve motor function and reduce fluctuations in movement. By inhibiting the breakdown of Levodopa, Adcapone ensures more consistent dopamine levels in the brain.
