Description
Atazis-10 Tablet is an antihistamine used primarily to relieve allergic symptoms and itching, as well as to treat anxiety and as a mild sedative.

Hydroxyzine blocks histamine H1 receptors, counteracting the effects of histamine responsible for allergic reactions such as itching, redness, swelling, rashes, and sneezing.

It also depresses activity in certain subcortical areas of the central nervous system, producing a sedative effect, which is why it may be prescribed for short-term anxiety or to help induce sleep before surgery.

Useful for symptomatic treatment of chronic urticaria (hives), eczema, atopic dermatitis, and various skin allergies.

Dosage & Administration

Dosage: As prescribed by a doctor; usually 10–25 mg 2 to 3 times daily (individualized and age/condition dependent).

Swallow tablet whole with water, with or without food.
Safety & Precautions

Common side effects: Drowsiness, blurred vision, dry mouth, constipation, dizziness, upset stomach, headache.

Avoid alcohol; can increase drowsiness and dizziness.

Caution in elderly, children, pregnant/breastfeeding women, or those with kidney/liver/cardiac disease, glaucoma, prostate issues, or asthma.
