Description
CIPCOZ-250 Tablet contains ciprofloxacin, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections.
Uses / Indications

Urinary tract infections (UTI): Cystitis, pyelonephritis, and other UTIs.

Respiratory tract infections: Pneumonia, bronchitis, sinusitis.

Skin and soft tissue infections

Bone and joint infections

Gastrointestinal infections: Infectious diarrhea (including traveler’s diarrhea), typhoid fever.

Ear and throat infections

Genital/sexually transmitted infections: Including uncomplicated gonorrhea.

Used in certain cases of fever with low white blood cell count or for anthrax exposure as prescribed.

Dosage & Administration

Oral tablet: 250 mg typically every 12 hours (twice daily), as prescribed by a doctor.

Swallow with water, with or without food—avoid dairy, antacids, iron or zinc supplements close to dosing.

Always complete the full course prescribed, even if feeling better, to prevent recurrence or resistance.
Safety & Side Effects

Common: Nausea, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, abdominal pain, vomiting.

Serious (rare): Tendonitis/tendon rupture, nerve damage (tingling, numbness), severe allergic reaction, irregular heartbeat, photosensitivity.

Use with caution in kidney disease, previous tendon disorder, epilepsy/neurological conditions, and children/elderly.
