Description

Ciploric 100 Tablet is a medicine manufactured by Cipla Ltd that contains Allopurinol (100mg) as its active ingredient. It is commonly prescribed for the management of gout and high uric acid levels in the blood (a condition known as hyperuricemia).

How it Works:
Allopurinol belongs to a class of drugs called xanthine oxidase inhibitors. It works by reducing the production of uric acid in the body. When uric acid levels become too high, they can form sharp crystals in the joints and tissues, leading to gout attacks, joint pain, swelling, and kidney stones. By lowering uric acid levels, Ciploric 100 helps in preventing these complications.
