Clopilet Tablet

Description

Clopilet Tablet contains Clopidogrel (75mg), an antiplatelet medicine. It helps prevent the formation of harmful blood clots by stopping platelets from sticking together. This reduces the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular complications, especially in patients with a history of heart disease, stroke, or peripheral artery disease.

Uses:

• Prevention of heart attack and stroke

• Treatment after angioplasty or stent placement

• Management of peripheral artery disease

• Prevention of blood clots in patients with cardiovascular risk

Dosage:

• Take as prescribed by the doctor.

• Usually taken once daily with or without food.

• Do not stop suddenly without medical advice.

Side Effects:

• Bleeding, nosebleeds

• Easy bruising

• Diarrhea, stomach pain, indigestion

• Headache, dizziness

• Rarely: severe allergic reactions, liver problems

Precautions:

• Avoid alcohol and other medicines that increase bleeding risk (e.g., aspirin, NSAIDs) unless advised.

• Inform doctor before surgery or dental procedures.

• Use cautiously if you have a history of bleeding disorders, stomach ulcers, or liver disease.

• Not recommended in pregnancy and breastfeeding unless clearly prescribed.
