Crotec-EC Capsule is primarily prescribed for:

Prevention of stomach ulcers in patients taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).

Treatment of peptic ulcers and gastritis.

Supporting healing of the stomach lining by increasing protective mucus and bicarbonate secretion.
Misoprostol, a prostaglandin analogue, works by reducing acid secretion and enhancing the natural defense mechanisms of the stomach and intestines.
How to Use:

Take this medicine by mouth with food or as directed by your doctor.

Swallow the capsule whole; do not crush or chew.

Follow the prescribed schedule strictly, usually 2 to 4 times daily depending on your condition.
Precautions:

Pregnancy Warning: Misoprostol can cause miscarriage or premature labor — do not use if pregnant or planning pregnancy.

Use with caution in breastfeeding women.

Avoid alcohol and smoking, as they may worsen stomach irritation.
