Description
Defcort 6 Tablet contains Deflazacort 6 mg, a corticosteroid used to treat a variety of inflammatory, autoimmune, and muscle disorders.
Uses / Indications

Inflammatory conditions: Arthritis (including rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis), asthma, inflammatory bowel disease, ulcerative colitis, uveitis, allergies, and other severe inflammation.

Autoimmune diseases: Psoriasis, eczema, atopic dermatitis, lupus, and other immune-related conditions.

Muscular disorders: Especially Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) in children and adults.

Severe allergic reactions and flare-ups of chronic diseases needing steroid therapy.

Long-term/serious: High blood sugar (caution with diabetes), immune suppression (higher infection risk), mood changes, osteoporosis, muscle weakness, impaired wound healing, adrenal suppression.
