Etody 60 Tablet is a pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory medicine that contains Etoricoxib (60mg) as its active ingredient. It belongs to a class of medicines known as COX-2 selective NSAIDs (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs). Etody 60 Tablet is primarily used to relieve pain, swelling, and inflammation associated with various joint and muscle disorders such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, and spondylitis.
Etoricoxib works by selectively inhibiting the cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) enzyme responsible for the production of prostaglandins, which cause pain and inflammation in the body.
