Description
Levomac OZ Tablet is a combination antibiotic that contains Levofloxacin (a fluoroquinolone antibiotic) and Ornidazole (an antiprotozoal and antibacterial agent).

Levofloxacin kills a wide variety of bacteria by blocking their DNA replication.

Ornidazole is effective against protozoa (like Giardia and Entamoeba) and anaerobic bacteria.
Together, they provide broad-spectrum coverage against bacterial and protozoal infections.
Uses of Levomac OZ Tablet

Diarrhea and dysentery caused by bacteria and protozoa

Gastrointestinal infections (e.g., giardiasis, amoebiasis)

How to Use

Take the tablet as prescribed by your doctor.

Side Effects

Precautions

Do not take with antacids, iron, or multivitamins within 2 hours of the dose (they reduce absorption of Levofloxacin).
