About LipiCARD 160 Tablet
LipiCARD 160 Tablet is a lipid-lowering medicine that helps reduce high cholesterol and triglyceride (fat) levels in the blood.
It is mainly prescribed to patients with hyperlipidemia or hypertriglyceridemia, conditions that increase the risk of heart disease, stroke, and pancreatitis.
The active ingredient, Fenofibrate (160mg), belongs to a class of medicines called fibrates, which work by improving the breakdown and removal of fats from the bloodstream.
How It Works
-
Fenofibrate activates lipoprotein lipase, an enzyme that enhances the breakdown of triglyceride-rich particles.
-
It lowers LDL (bad cholesterol) and triglycerides while increasing HDL (good cholesterol).
-
By improving the lipid profile, LipiCARD 160 helps protect against artery blockage and cardiovascular events.
