Description

Montecip-FX Tablets are a combination medicine manufactured by Cipla Ltd, designed to provide effective relief from a wide spectrum of allergic symptoms. Each tablet contains Montelukast 10mg and Fexofenadine 120mg, which work synergistically to combat seasonal and perennial allergies, including hay fever and allergic rhinitis.

Active Ingredients and Actions:

• Montelukast (10mg): A leukotriene receptor antagonist that helps reduce inflammation and allergic responses in the airways. It blocks leukotriene activity, preventing tightening of airway muscles and decreasing swelling, thus improving breathing and reducing allergy symptoms.

• Fexofenadine (120mg): A modern, non-drowsy antihistamine that blocks the action of histamine, the chemical trigger for allergy signs such as sneezing, runny nose, and watery eyes. Fexofenadine helps alleviate symptoms without causing sedation, making it suitable for daytime use.
