Description

MUPICIP 10 GM is a topical antibiotic ointment from Cipla Ltd., containing Mupirocin 2% w/w. It is used for the treatment of bacterial skin infections, including those caused by Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogenes.

Mupirocin works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, preventing bacteria from multiplying, promoting faster healing, and reducing the spread of infection.

Uses:

• Treatment of impetigo

• Infected cuts, wounds, and abrasions

• Folliculitis and minor skin infections

• Prevention of infection in minor skin injuries
