Description
OMIFYL contains Omeprazole 20 mg in enteric-coated capsule form supplied in strip packaging. Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) widely used to reduce excessive stomach acid and treat acid-related disorders of the gastrointestinal tract.
How it Works
Omeprazole inhibits the gastric proton pump (H+/K+ ATPase) in stomach lining cells, leading to a significant reduction in acid secretion. This enables healing of inflamed tissue, ulcers, and helps relieve symptoms caused by acid excess.
