Description

PODOCIP 200 Tablet is an antibiotic manufactured by Cipla Ltd., containing Ciprofloxacin 200 mg, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic. It is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase, an enzyme essential for bacterial replication. This prevents bacteria from multiplying and helps the body fight infection.

Uses:

• Urinary tract infections (UTIs)

• Respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, pneumonia)

• Gastrointestinal infections (diarrhea, dysentery)

• Skin and soft tissue infections

• Bone and joint infections

• Sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
