Description
Rabesec D Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat acid reflux, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), heartburn, acidity, and indigestion. It contains Rabeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces stomach acid, and Domperidone, a prokinetic agent that enhances stomach and intestinal movement, thereby preventing reflux and nausea.
This dual-action formula provides faster relief by controlling acid secretion and improving gastric emptying. It helps in healing acid-related damage to the stomach and esophagus, prevents regurgitation of food, and reduces discomfort caused by bloating, nausea, and belching.

How It Works
-
Rabeprazole (20 mg): A PPI that suppresses gastric acid secretion by irreversibly blocking the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme (proton pump) in the stomach lining.
-
Domperidone (10 mg): A dopamine antagonist that increases gut motility and prevents reflux by tightening the lower esophageal sphincter.
Together, they reduce stomach acid and improve digestion, giving long-lasting relief from acidity and reflux symptoms.
