Description

Uses:

Zithrox 100 Rediuse Suspension is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections, including:

• Respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, pneumonia)

• Ear, nose, and throat infections (otitis media, sinusitis, pharyngitis)

• Skin and soft tissue infections

• Certain sexually transmitted infections

It contains Azithromycin, a macrolide antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, helping to eliminate bacteria and control the infection.

Dosage & Administration:

• The usual dose for children depends on weight and age, as prescribed by a doctor.

• Shake the bottle well before use.

• Take orally, with or without food.

• Complete the full course of therapy even if symptoms improve to prevent resistance.

• Dose adjustment may be required in patients with liver or kidney issues.

Side Effects:

Common side effects:

• Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea

• Stomach discomfort or abdominal pain

• Mild headache

Rare but serious side effects:

• Allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling, severe skin reactions)

• Liver dysfunction (jaundice, elevated liver enzymes)

• Severe diarrhea or Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea
