Monocef-O 200 Tablet contains Cefpodoxime Proxetil, an oral third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It is widely prescribed for the treatment of moderate to severe bacterial infections in adults and older children. Compared to the 100mg DT version, the 200mg strength is typically used for adult patients or more severe infections.
