Nicip MR Tablet

Description

Nicip MR Tablet is a triple combination medicine that provides pain relief, reduces inflammation, and relaxes muscles. It combines:

• Nimesulide – an NSAID that reduces inflammation and pain.

• Paracetamol – an analgesic and antipyretic that relieves pain and fever.

• Chlorzoxazone – a muscle relaxant that reduces muscle stiffness and spasms.

This combination is particularly useful in painful musculoskeletal conditions where inflammation, pain, and muscle spasm occur together.

Uses

Prescribed for:

• Back pain and neck pain (with stiffness/spasms)

• Musculoskeletal pain (strains, sprains, injuries)

• Arthritis pain with muscle spasm

• Sports injuries

• Post-surgical musculoskeletal pain

Dosage & Administration

• Adults: Usually 1 tablet 1–2 times daily after food, or as directed by a physician.

• Should be taken with water, swallowed whole.

• Not for long-term use due to possible liver and stomach-related side effects.

Common:

• Dizziness, drowsiness

Serious (rare):

• Liver damage (due to nimesulide and paracetamol)
